Oppenheim Architecture’s Ayla Golf Academy & Clubhouse project wins Best Leisure Architecture Arabia at International Property Awards

04 December 2017

Oppenheim Architecture is pleased to announce that our Ayla Golf Academy & Clubhouse project was named a regional category winner for Best Leisure Architecture Arabia at the 2017 International Property Awards. The winners were announced at an award ceremony held on December 4, 2017 at the Savoy Hotel in London, England. Rasem Kamal (pictured in slideshow above), Designer from Oppenheim’s Basel studio, was honored to accept the award on behalf of the firm.

One of the industry’s most prestigious and widely recognized honors, the International Property Awards celebrate the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry and are a world-renowned mark of excellence. The International Property Awards invites award recipients from their respective regional Property Awards programs to compete at an international level. Oppenheim received the honor of being considered by being awarded an Arabian Property Award for Best Leisure Architecture Jordan at the 2017 Africa & Arabia Property Awards in September. The Ayla Golf Academy & Clubhouse project also received the Five Stars Award in this regional awards program.

Oppenheim’s winning project entry, Ayla Golf Academy & Clubhouse, is part of a highly anticipated mixed-use resort development currently under construction in Aqaba, Jordan. This award comes after recent honors received by the project at World Architecture Festival 2016 and the 5th Annual Architizer A+ Awards earlier this year.
