Andrea Perelli is a designer who holds a Masters degree from Florida International University where she received the Excellence Award for her thesis project. Perelli believes advancements in technology can allow for objects and spaces to become more adaptive and respond to individual’s specific needs in the built environment. As a student Perelli’s researched involved digital manufacturing techniques and their impact in the way we make at different scales. Her student projects range from human activated wall installations, prosthetics, and architectural interventions. 

Perelli is an adjunct professor at Florida International University where she has taught several courses including Architectural Design Studio, and has been a teaching assistant for Fundamentals of Digital Design and Advanced Digital Design. She has also led several workshops at local community events to empower individuals through digital design and making.
